River Garden Marketplace - Brattleboro

The prices here are quite high considering what you receive. I paid $9.00 for a small glass of wine. The self-service aspect is nice, but the patio could use some improvement. The area across the railway tracks felt dirty and uninviting. I enjoyed my experience much more at Whetstone Brewery at the station, where you can really relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I noticed an odd charge of $2.21 on my card, and I hope it wasn’t added as a tip since we left cash on the table. We informed our server, but she quickly left to collect it, even though we were still waiting for her. Overall, Whetstone Station was far more enjoyable. Just sharing my thoughts as a local Vermonter.

They efficiently manage the monthly rotation of diners, ensuring there are always free seats available with a lovely view of the Connecticut River.

I visited this restaurant a couple of times during my trip to Brattleboro, and I loved it! The space is lovely—bright and airy—and the staff is very friendly. The beer selection is impressive, and everything I tried was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by!

Beautiful place to enjoy some great beer options. easy feed options, but only enough for a fast meal and drinks. all bar offers were great and tyler was very helpful with the sours.

The food was just okay. I could not stand the lack of typical table/bar service. I prefer traditional places where they take my order, serve the food and ask if I want another pint.
