Be sure not to miss it if you're in town. The only downside is that you usually have to wait ...because also non-vegans come to try some delicious vegan goodness :

While visiting Bratislava, I happened to come across a festival and decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food and dessert options available, with both international and local choices. I found myself returning multiple times throughout the day to sample more delicious dishes. Overall, it was a great experience!

The largest vegan festival in Slovakia, held twice a year, is a fantastic opportunity to engage in great conversations, meet other vegans, and most importantly, indulge in incredible food. With such a wide selection of dishes to choose from at Veganske Hody, I believe there is something for everyone to try. This event is always a favorite of mine, with an otherworldly atmosphere, friendly people, and a joyful celebration of veganism.

I highly recommend trying the delicious burgers, gyoza, Asian dishes, and traditional Slovak food in vegan versions at this restaurant. In addition to the amazing vegan options, you can also support vegan activism by purchasing clothes, bags, and accessories. During my last visit, I tried the Kokosko dish from OZ Vagus, which was Asian-style rice noodles with a creamy peanut butter sauce. It was incredibly tasty and all the proceeds go towards helping homeless individuals in the community. Not only do you get to enjoy great food, but you also contribute to a good cause. It's a win-win situation!
