The Château Élan Golf Club

Course was in terrible shape. Manager said they warn hotel guests but not those who book through golf shop. Wasn't allowed to use driving range. Terrible service.

First off..fantastic course! BUT they had no range balls. The greens were aerated, no big deal but they weren't even filled with sand. I would love to play it in the summer instead of spring

I played the Woodlands course and it's absolutely stunning! The overall conditions are very good, although 1 or 2 tee boxes could use some improvements. Like other courses in Georgia, the greens are wavy, soft, and smooth, but a bit too slow for my taste. I'm not sure why they don't speed up those beautiful greens to enhance the enjoyment and challenge of the game. Due to their softness, it's easy to leave a big ball mark, so players should be sure to repair their marks. The course also offers a glimpse of the beautiful large houses surrounding it. I recommend that anyone playing Georgia courses (or mountain courses) bring a rangefinder with a leveling function; otherwise, if you rely on estimating proximity distances, players may wonder how you know.

The facility has received upgrades, and the courses appear to be better maintained than in previous years. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to a very enjoyable golfing experience!

Absolutely AMAZING is all I can say! This is one of the best-maintained courses I've ever played! The greens were fast and challenging, but they were so much fun! I can’t wait to play this course again!
