The food that is being serves here is nothing like what the original Mother's used to, cheap on toppings as well. There are lots of better independent pizza joints in Brantford View all feedback.

Small buffet, but good... pizza, pasta, and fresh salad bar. dessert too. quality over quantity. Our server was efficient and friendly.
We had been to this location previously, as well as the one in Hamilton when it first opened. But I thought third time is a charm. (was not impressed first two times) So... we were taking our neighbor children out to celebrate their close in date birthdays. We waited almost 5 minutes to be seated as staff was goofing around in the bar. The restaurant had 3 tables with people at them. After we were seated, ordered our drinks, the waitress proceeded to tell us that any size pizza was 5.99, the flavor of the day was bruschetta ( sorry,, bruschetta is not a pizza flavoring, it's bread with salsa fresco). Anyway, my husband clarified twice before she left the table that the price was 5.99. We perused the menu and determined based on the menu priceing the 5.99 seemed a little strange, unless it was the build your own. because all ready made pizzas were 14.99 and up. When we ordered he again clarified the price, ordered his pizza and I went with salad bar( not worth it for the 10.99... west garden has a better salad bar) because i have to be cautious with seasonings so i figured that was safe. Kids ordered chicken fingers and the panzerotti. Order came back quickly enough and was hot,One of the kids said that the chalkboard said any size pizza was $15.99 not 5.99.So we decided we had better check the bill/ I wasn't sure if the beef stew and rolls that were in where the salad bar was were part of it or left over from lunch buffet ( most of the salad bar looked like it was, never saw an employee go in to refresh or refill anything,, potato and mac salad shouldn't sit that long not in ice, they need to take a lesson from ruby tuesday's) . I tried a slice of husbands pizza, just mushrooms and cheese and the crust was full of garlic, no tomato sauce( from their website:All Pizzas start with fresh daily house made pizza dough and tomato sauce using Mother's original recipe and mozzarella cheese with 100% Canadian dairy products. Gluten free option available for any small pizza ) so i had two bites and gave him back the slice. Had half of one of the chicken fingers, and it was full of salt. ( seasoned chicken breast I'm guessing). We finished our meal, were asked if we would like dessert, which we declined. The bill came and my husband was charged the full price of the pizza plus the toppings. ( when I could read the dark chalk board with the dark coloured chalk later it said any size pizza any toppings for $15.99)So we argued it. The server said she didn't say 5.99, she said 15.99, and we said no we all heard you say 5.99 and my husband confirmed it with you before you walked away. so In the long run, the manager came over, and said I don't know why she would say that when it's posted 15.99 all over the restaurant and waved her hand around. I looked at the walls and windows and I didn't see it. So I very calmly and levelly let her know that I didn't really give a flying fig what she didn't know, the fact was that we were quoted 5.99, it was confirmed more than once, I think she knew I wasn't impressed with the pass the buck. She stated in either case , there is nothing I can do to change the price ( bold faced lie) so here is a voucher for you to use on todays bill which will bring it to 5.99. My husband had offered to pay for the toppings anyway for the price to be changed. We didn't get any type of apology... from either the server or the manager. Some people just don't know how to please customers. This is the third bad experience with the new Mother's ... never ever ever ever again. NOthing would make me go back. Absolutely nothing. And to top it all off, the manager gave the server hell out on the floor, quietly, but the poor girl was in tears. Seriously, what is with that? You do not degrade or berate your employees. Especially when the patrons can see you. Oh, and by the way, this restaurant has the pricing of fine dining but the foood quality is that of cheap eats. the pizza crust is so thin you can see through it... no wonder they don't put on sauce

Keep up the good work Mother's.
We wanted a change from normal supper so we decided on Mother's and we were not disappointed. They had the salad bar as part of your entrée. We ordered this with our pizza. Good variety of salad items to pick from. The pizza was also good. The taste of the meal was extremely good. Service provided by Katherine was good. Very friendly.
