McDonald's - Brantford

This was your typical McDonald's though it seemed newer/nicer - not sure why the other reviewer here only gave it one star.__We stopped here for a bite

It was a light visit, no substantial food ordered, but again this is not our favourite McD's in town. Perhaps because it is so busy at times, or maybe the staff isn't as friendly but the one at Stanley & Dalhousie and West Brant are nicer restaurants to visit.

Since it is on the block next to the exit of Highway 403, there are always a lot of cars in the drive-through, according to some of my friends, the drive-through's service is good, I haven't been there so I can't say anything. In-store is fine as well, the orders served fairly quickly, though the self-service is a bit to confusing to use, everything else is cool. However, the washroom is constantly un-maintained (was that even a word), the toilet is often clogged and no one would clean it up. If you want a quick stop to go to the washroom, go to the mall across the road instead of this McDonald's.

The Angus burger is very good here. The value is compromised as I was charged for cheese, for bacon, even though I did not have these items on my burger. It is pure greed the way the prices are structured at this restaurant chain, as cheese, and bacon ought to be add ons to the basic price. I have seen people order just the patty and the bun, yet pay full price for all the toppings. This is not fair, and one reason I normally avoid this place. I am grateful for my juicy delicious hamburger, but deplore the dirty men's washroom that had no toilet paper in the stalls. The kids working there need better training and discipline. Maybe they just hate to get their hands dirty, just like at home.
