Not sure what to think at the moment, but I ordered food for delivery, which I had called the restaurant directly to help save them money from getting gouged by uber eats, and it's been 1.5 hours and no food. No call from the restaurant which is now closed, the number that they called me back with to confirm that it was a real order is not in service. Terrible service. This was the best Greek and Italian food e have ever had. Service was fantastic, food was so fresh and hot with quality ingredients you can taste the passion for food. Thank you so much for a wonderful time we will be back!! BTW, you can see the care with food when the lemons were cut with mebraine removed. All the taste and no bitterness. Great attention to detail.
So as a chef who worked in Michelin star restaurants, who has been to many restaurants, this place would be one of my worst take out experiences. I bought smoked Meat sandwich and paid 16$ in total. It also comes with a salad. The smoked meat sandwich, which was only the size of my palm, definitly isnt enough for one person even though its on the lunch menu. The amount of good you get for 16$ will still leave you hungry. Now minimum wage in Ontario is 14$, youre telling me people work for an hour to get this type of food.. leave work and hour early to go make food at home it would be better way to spend money. No tissues or cutlery were given with a takeout order, can you believe it? The reason why ım giving 2 stars and not 1 is because I respect the work they dis in the kitchen to make this sandwich. Do not waste your money and time with this place. Also I took the sandwich to the job site, the guys had to make their own fork. I have a picture if you would like to see.
The food was excellent quality , hot, tasty and generous servings. Service was excellent, my compliments to the Chef and staff there who are all so nice and friendly. One if the best Greek dinners I have had in a long time. So happy to have found this wonderful restaurant so close to home. I will definitely be back soon.
My Husband and I decided to try this lovely restaurant for the first time on Valentine’s Day and we were beyond thankful we did! Generous portions, amazing food, incredibly kind staff and just a 10/10 experience overall. I was even gifted a rose upon picking up the food! : Absolutely made my day. Can’t wait to come back and try more delicious meals! Thank you Bistro Greeco Italiano!
