Not impressed. If you're in search of authentic Mexican cuisine, this likely isn't the place for you. However, I will say that there is a certain charm to "good bad" Mexican food, and unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't deliver that either.

The bar area located beneath the restaurant is quite lovely. The bartender and waitress were extremely attentive! We received excellent service and the food was delicious. Overall ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. Meal type: Dinner.

The chicken, beef enchiladas, and tacos, along with the rice and beans, all had a similar and rather bland flavor. Everything was just okay. The red sauce was served on everything, which didn't help the taste. I've never done this before, but I have to admit that we left without leaving a tip. The waiter only took our order and delivered the food—I've experienced more interaction at a drive-thru at McDonald's! I considered leaving a couple of dollars as a tip, but honestly, for what? This was the worst service I've ever encountered at a full-service restaurant! Rating for the food: 2 out of 5.

Absolutely quick and incredibly friendly service! As someone from Springfield, I can confidently say this is the best Mexican restaurant I've experienced since moving to Missouri three years ago. I will definitely return soon! Food: 5 | Service: 5 | Atmosphere: 5
