Bud's Fish Market - Branford

Our experience at Hal's store was fantastic. We recently moved to the area and decided to try out his seafood dishes. We purchased the seafood lobster dip and haddock, and were blown away by how fresh and delicious the haddock was. We can't wait to go back again soon.

This restaurant is the only place where you can find wild salmon, which is very good. Although the prices are high, it seems that these days everything is pricey.

Additionally, I paid $50 for less than 2 pounds of steamers. While they did offer some unique menu items, I found that dining here would end up costing more than necessary. I apologize for being frank, but I think it's important to be honest about my experience.

Had a great experience! Will definitely be back again. Can’t wait to cook these bad boys up.

Hello I just recently quit working at buds and i 'm here to tell you the truth.. Hal claims everything he has is homemade but in reality it 's just Mat Laws brand! EVERYTHING. Nothing in this store is homemade. The fish is left in the case and once it starts growing mold he cuts the mold off and puts it back. This store is so disgusting.. And on top of it all he claims that nothing is frozen but all of the gulf shrimp and large shrimp used for stuffed shrimp come straight out of the freezer! Do not come here and especially do not come here if you are looking for his homemade items.. just go to the grocery store and get triple the amount for a fraction of the price.
