TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS! I had a craving for a burger and almost skipped this place due to its 3.9-star rating. But I’m so glad I ignored those reviews and went for it! After dining here, I can't understand how anyone could have anything negative to say about this restaurant. I ordered the Breaking Bad burger, a custom burger, some oxtails, and pineapple juice. Oh my goodness! It was absolutely AMAZING. Truly, it was th... View all feedback.
What Arielle H doesn't like about Mad Cow Grill:
This is not your typical Jamaican restaurant. I ordered the curry chicken with rice and peas and spinach. However, they only serve the curry chicken using thighs, which I’m not really a fan of, so I was a bit disappointed but still decided to give it a try. I anticipated a flavorful curry gravy, but some pieces of the chicken felt a little dry, and even the rice seemed a bit lacking. It tasted like the chicken wasn’t... View all feedback.
Here’s what we ordered: - **Picture 1:** Curry Shrimp - Served with white rice and spinach, featuring a spicy curry sauce, julienne vegetables, squash, carrots, and peppers. - **Picture 2:** Oxtail Entree - Originally comes with plantains, rice, and beans (but in the picture, it’s served with spinach and cabbage). - **Picture 3:** Moonshine BBQ Wings - **Picture 4:** Jerk Chicken Entree - Served with rice and beans, and curried cabbage. It’s definitely spicy! - **Picture 5:** Coco Bread Make sure to follow my food blog on Instagram @fabfoodieinthecity!
It tasted like the chicken wasn’t properly seasoned, just covered in curry. On a positive note, the spinach was quite good, though it was a little on the salty side. Overall, I’ll consider trying them again, but I’ll choose a different dish next time instead of the curry chicken.
I was referred to this restaurant by a regular visitor of the Laurel location. Initially, I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. I tried the jerk chicken tacos and they were outstanding! They were spicy, generously portioned, and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was a perfect mix of rustic café charm with a touch of modern style. The dessert menu was impressively diverse, and the beautiful presentation made it difficult to choose. I highly recommend the banana pudding cake—it's phenomenal!
I ordered the shrimp po' boy, and this is one of just four shrimp pieces that were included. I'm so disappointed!
Fantastic food...first time visit....excellent...we had the Rasta Pasta and the Morning Joe Burger....the seasoning on both dishes were great....this is my new favorite restaurant.....
