We used our complimentary breakfast coupons from a summer promotion. I believe the kids menu was regular $5 and most regular sized breakfasts were $10-15. Average value. The server was attentive to our table (3 kids) and breakfast arrived quickly. My only trivial complaint was the atmosphere. What User doesn't like about Echo Restaurant & Wine Bar:
The prime rib is a great value for $23 for the 10 oz with -- on the night we visited -- excellent roasted, seasoned asparagus and a loaded baked potato. The Yorkshire pudding on the side was the toughest thing on the plate, ironically. Everything else was excellent and flavourful. The service is great, the restaurant manager is amazing and they have the best food.

Clean, modern and well kept, just really dimly lit. No windows to the outside. Conveniently located inside the hotel and would eat there again.

For a place that calls itself a wine bar, I was expecting more than just a couple of pages in the small drinks menu on the table, with just a few by the glass. There is a fancier bottle list with about 5 more, all $84-$150 per bottle. A solid recommendation for dinner though.
Solid hotel restaurant food. Less than expected wine selection for a 'wine bar'. Basic wine selection for average prices unless you select from the reserve wine list which is well above $100 a bottle and no by the glass option on the reserve list. The $5 dessert special is well worth the money! Huge portion!
I've eaten a few times at Echo while working in the Brandon area; it's handy with staying at the Clarion Hotel and Suites where Echo is located within. I have had Jesse and Emily as my servers; both are very good at their jobs. The prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights is good, however, their rib dinner is even better - I highly recommend the ribs. I definitely recommend this place for a good supper night out.
