What amazing food! Totally worth the wait to get a fresh order, the chicken shawarma plate was exceptional and the pickled vegetables were for sure homemade. I can’t say enough good things about the sauces either; tahini and garlic were delicious and didn’t over power anything. I also got the beef/lamb gyro and I didn’t take much time to breath during eating this. First time going but for sure will be going back! View all feedback.
What R Hassan doesn't like about Babakadir Shawarma:
Tried this place since the Google reviews seemed popular. The mixed kebab plate. Ugh; just tasteless and dry! This was the most tasteless potatoes ever. If you're seeking a quick bite, try something else. View all feedback.
A place that's shutdown should update its google. Very sketchy
They were open and sign was on. So me and my wife decided we would try it out. We were ready to make our order and then they told us they're not open . I said your sign says open and according to your hours your open for three more hours . And wouldn't even sell us a can drink. The absolute worst kind of people I hate racist immigrants.
I waited 50 minutes. But no body taken my order it’s bad service ? And I calling them and no body answer ??
I would not trust any other reviews but this one. Everyone giving this place five stars are either family or friends.I went into this dive for the first time today. Atmosphere was scary cringy, with a plastic wall that looked like a penalty box at the cash register. Place was empty. BabaKadir Shawarma boasts its the fastest Shawarma place, well, today I waited 20minutes for a Lamb Gyro, made by someone I can tell struggles to cook, let alone keep up with the speed of a real kitchen. I would not write this if the food was good, but I was overcharged for a skinny Gyro with very little meat and some huge chunks of lettuce that were sour. Like for real! I am from Toronto. You want a delicious, fast Shawarma, go study what Ali Baba does, cause BabaKrap is not it.
