Contribute Feedback What Gilbert Francois likes about U Fragnu:
We got there early and the first to arrive, recommend you book a table as it does not seat many. We had the fish soup which was very good too much for two people it came with cheese and garlic mayo and fresh garlic. We then chose the fish and they brought out the fresh fish on a tray for you too choose. Be careful with this the waiters speak little if any English, it tried to ask in French how much they weigh as you... View all feedback.
What Ajiono Wahyuni doesn't like about U Fragnu:
Wie ordered a Fish with a Price per 100g and werde surprised Byte the Bill of more than 100 Euros for two Main Dishes. This was too much. Apart from that good Atmosphere and nice stuff but take Care of the Price View all feedback.
There was last week and had an excellent meal, although I end up with a larger fish than I expected and paid 56 euros. However, they calculate the lowest rate per 100g, so it was my fault. The fish was very well cooked
The fish in this restaurant is probably the freshest and most tasteful fish I ever had!! During this visit we started with the fish soup, which is a house speciality and is always delicious! For our main meal we had the Lup, it was... shameful and had a big butterfly taste. The portion size was plentiful and it was served alongside some boiled potatoes and a beautiful caponata. To dessert I had the apple cake that was a very satisfying dessert. I will return to U Fragnu on every trip I take to Corsica!! (The landscape is also beautiful!! View photos)
We visited here during the area and we wish we had read the reviews before! The views are spectacular, but after 8.30 you can see nothing ... The restaurant was packed on the terrace. It just seemed to be a young boy who was... very good and an older person who just seemed to walk around to pack more people into the restaurant. My husband ordered the 3-course menu and I ordered the red Mullet. we didn't say we wanted the two nets to arrive at the same time... Maybe we should... my head came with his starter within 5 minutes... You need good lighting to eat these little fish and that was a problem! We ordered the wine we asked twice, and it came only after I finished my meal. 30 minutes later we had to ask for my husband's main course, and I had to hand my plate over to the waiter. His swordfish tasted nothing like swordfish, and it was served with an unusual sauce that left a taste - especially disgusting. We had to ask twice for desert and three times for the bill. At the end we got up and went to pay! It was shaking chaos behind the scenes!! We paid €84 and if we had a conversation in French, we would have given what we thought it was worth, but spent two hours there, we couldn't wait to get out. Obviously, they need more employees who can be more attentive, as this is by no means a cheap restaurant-my advice will save you money and go elsewhere - there are other restaurants nearby with good views that serve good food!
We ate at this restaurant twice as the service was good and the food was very reasonably priced. They offer a 3-course menu for less than 30 euro, and the cost of the lovely Corsican wine was reasonable too at approximately 16 euro for a...500ml bottle. On our first visit we were seated on the water's edge, which left us feeling like we were the only ones there. The restaurant is tiny, so make sure you book in advance.
A huge disappointment! The mussels were over cooked and poor quality, many were so small and stringy they seemed to be cheap seconds. One of us ordered a langoustine pasta, should have asked for the price, 63 euros for over cooked pasta and over cooked...More
