I always love visiting this pub whenever I'm in New Jersey. It has a cozy, hometown feel, a cheerful crowd, and fantastic food. I especially look forward to Wing Thursday. The smoked potato salad and onion soup are truly delicious! View all feedback.
What Ingrid P doesn't like about Upper Sports Deck:
I took my partner out for dinner on Friday and was quite disappointed. The service was incredibly slow—20 minutes for drinks and over 45 minutes for our appetizers. We had to keep asking about our meals. The corn fritters were greasy and small, while the stuffed portabella mushrooms were just layered with a spinach mixture. Although only open a few days a week, this place is a must! Pizzas are GREAT and for meat and potatoes the steaks are excellently priced and delicious. Drinks are made well too! Won't break the bank if looking for a date night, and atmosphere/dress code is super relaxed and casual. Everyone is friendly, including other customers!
The pub sizzler is my favorite. Expertly prepared and a fine cut of beef. Warm loaf of bread was a treat. Never been disappointed. Clam appetizers super.

The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are great. It's a lovely local spot worth visiting!
I went there last night with friends and ordered the Cajun prime rib. Unfortunately, it was so tough that it felt like it could be used for shoe soles. I was quite disappointed, especially since they used to be really good.
