Pickle Barrel befuddles me! Over the years I've eaten here a handful of time, never having had a negative experience, but it's never something that pops into my head when trying to figure out where I want to go to eat. The menu is vast covering pretty much everything you could want. And all of it is done reasonably well. Marketing perhaps? View all feedback.

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The quick service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and the music added to the enjoyable atmosphere. We greatly enjoyed our time there.
The Pickle Barrel restaurant is located at the entrance of the Bramalea shopping center in Brampton. We chose to dine here for my birthday because we saw that they have a terrace and we had never been to this restaurant before. When we arrived, we opted to eat indoors instead of on the terrace due to the warm weather. The tables and chairs were spaced out to comply with Covid restrictions. We had already looked at the menu online before coming, so we ordered crispy calamari, coconut crusted shrimp, paella, and steak. Our calamari and coconut crusted shrimp appetizers arrived promptly along with our drinks. We found them both delicious, although there were only a few shrimp in the coconut crusted shrimp dish (about 5 pieces). My son ordered his steak cooked medium rare and he enjoyed it. However, the paella was not as tasty. It was served with some spicy sausage and shrimp, but the overwhelming taste of tomato sauce made it feel more like ketchup. I wouldn't necessarily recommend dining here again as there are other similar restaurants that offer the same dishes but with better quality. The service was quick and efficient.
Mary completed 90 trips around the sun and family and friends joined the celebration. Great lunch and meeting friends from many years ago. Very good server at our table (Matthew) did a great job. 14 OZ Stella for $6.50
Pickle Barrel is usually reliable for a half decent meal with choices that please most people. We had eggs Benedict and Kung Pao. Both were good and the server was attentive with a sense of humour. The restaurant was clean and service was pleasant.
Dont ever lose Scott.we felt like we were celebrities..All the food was nice and hot and served in a timely manner. I am from NY and visiting friends in Brampton and asked Scott about the area.He was very sweet and knowledgeable. Dessert was fabulous..I will...be back in September..
