Hakka Yummy Yummy - Brampton

I visited this small restaurant with five of my friends. The server was friendly and served us hot tea. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were large - we had to take leftovers home in a doggie bag. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

Fast service, very tasty food and selections. Portions are typical North American size, we could have easily shared our choices between 3 people.

I was in the area, goggled for good food and this restaurant was near where I was.It was lunch time, and I was lucky to find an empty table as the place was packed.Most of the customers looked like they were very familiar with the place.We were greeted immediately even though the servers were extremely busy.The variety on the menu was good. There was also menu on lunch specials.Price was reasonable especially for the lunch specials as most of the items came with a spring roll, and either soup of the day or a pop.We tried several spicy dishes. They did not disappoint. The dishes were not watered down to suit the taste buds of north americans. I guess it is because the location is Brampton, where most can take spicy food without raising a sweat.The only regret is that I did not see any authentic hakka food on the menu.Does Hakka in the restaurant name refer to the cuisine, or the dialect group of the owners?I wonder.The service was friendly, and the bill came fast when asked.While the food is tasty, I will probably not return unless I am in the area.I shall most likely try other restaurants with similar good reviews.

Love this spot. Drive by it and decided to stop in and take a chance. Mom and Pop's store with a great feel and the best customer service ever. Food was a bonus too. Support this place people. You will not regret it.
