Golden Star Chinese Food - Brampton

Worst customer service. Ordered wings I was just in the area and craved some. Super greasy, not crispy, and when I asked for soy sauce and chilli sauce the unimpressed woman at the front actually said no we don’t have any and haven't for a long time.. what kind of Chinese restaurant doesn’t have those sauces !?!? Wild. Will never spend money here again.

Wow ! We frequent this restaurant quite a bit. Since it first opened many many years ago under the name Kings Garden. It was bought by a lovely Guyanese gentleman a few years back when the food started to go downhill. He really turned the food around and brought it up to an incredible quality. Never had a bad meal with him EVER. Sadly tonight when we placed an order for pickup we found out he is no longer there and is now under new ownership. So, 50% of our order was wrong and one item was missing. I dont know what happened over the phone but the order taker understood as he repeated each item back as I placed them. We ordered a couple of spicy dishes but both came out sickly sweet. Zero spice. The sweet and sour sauce was a runny watery mess for the chicken balls and had been diluted with VINEGAR to thin the sauce out. Its all you could smell. Ruined the chicken balls. Most of them anyways. Probably will never ever go back. New owner was super friendly. Shame really. This is our go to place for over 10 years. Time to find someplace new.

I ate from here years ago and found a hair fried into my chicken wing and mistakes happen. I haven’t ordered in a while and just recently started skip it to my house today, there is a rope cooked into the beef assuming it wasn’t cleaned properly. The food is not carefully handled here clearly. I will never be ordering from this location again.

Bought chicken wings at this restaurant two nights ago. Chicken was raw and had a stinky smell. Returned it the next day and demanded a refund. Never again will I buy food from this place.

Honestly speaking they have no soya sauce no hot sauce in the packaging she told me since 2019 Thailand stop making them .ok I went to HAKKA 1 RESTAURANT AT BEST RESTAURANT IN BRAMPTON THEY HAD TONS OF HOT SAUCE IN AND OUT THE PACKAGESO MY FOOD COMES AND THEY SEND ME ONE SMALL CONTAINER OF HOT SAUCE FOR FOUR PEOPLE AND FOUR DISH I JUST SEPNT ALMOST 80 DOLLARS ON FOOD I CANT GET TWO SAUCE OR PAY FOR MORE LOL.AND I CALL BACK TO ASK WHERE MY SAUCE THE RECEPTIONIST SHE SAYS NO TO EXPENSIVE WE CHARGE 50 CENTS SHE WAS MUBLING AND TRUING TO.FAST TALK SHE TOLD ME TO GO BUY YOUR UR OWN HOT SAUCE IM LIKE THATS OK I WOULD OF ORDER 5 SHE GOSE OH YEA I SAID YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS IF THE SAUCE COST AND HOW MUCH IS AVAILABLE THIS PLACE IS SUPER CHEEP AND THERE FOOD IS SUPER PLAN NEVER AGAIN
