The section is endless, you can never have everything. Forget eating, I doubt if you can even manage TRYING everything that they have on their buffet. Transports us back to the Gala Buffet's at some very good and prestigious hotels all over India.Adyar park, Chennai, Windsor Manor, Bangalore, Le Meridien, New Delhi...... At par if not better. The desserts were as good as Gupta Brothers, Calcutta.Perfect melting pot o... View all feedback.
What Charles Hall doesn't like about Brar Sweets & Restaurant:
No offense, but the place is too expensive and the food you get its not worth the money you pay for. I went there once and tried Chana Bhatura which was highly overpriced and didn't have any taste. I had Chana Bhatura and a drink and it cost me $15. I will never go there again. Worse experience I have ever had. Sitiing arrangement is OK. But if you go for dine in, prepare yourself for a long waiitng period for a wait... View all feedback.
If you want to eat veg and authentic Indian food this very good place. Come empty stomach. There's lot to eat
I had a terrible take out experience at brars recently. Few weeks ago i purchased a thali to go and they messed up my order. Plus they gave me an uncooked naan. I was very disappointed in the quality of food that i called them to make a complaint. The manager on duty told me that they have recorded my complaint in their complain book. They also insisted on me to have another thali for free or refund on my next visit at brars. So two days ago i visited again and i called a manager to talk about what happened previously. She totally denied the fact that they made the promise in the past. In fact she said there is NO COMPLAIN BOOK at brars. I felt embrassed and unwelcomed by the staff's behaviour and arguing despite it was not my fault. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND NEVER VISIT AGAIN.
Friends had visited us from US and we had been to Brar's based on our friends suggestion as they heard from someone about good vege. food. We reached at around 8;40 PM on a long weekend holiday evening. We were told that there is a wait for about 20-30 mins which we were fine. However, when our turn came it was about 9:35 to 9:40 and because it was buffet, we started our plate filling right away. To our horror, some counters were already empty. The guys manning those counters told us boldly that its time to close so they are running out of food. See their attitude of customer service when they admitted guests for dinner with friends from US. I had to literally yell at the manager on duty and they started filling some counters though some were not possible as it will take them long time to cook those items. At the end, we finished our dinner with only 50% items filled however, they only gave a discount of 1 person from a group of 7 persons. I will never go this place again. Not recommended.

This is a popular lunch spot. Food is fresh and delicious. Lots of options, all vegetarian. You usually over eat at these spots, which makes for a long afternoon! I find it a little pricy for lunch as it will run you about $17 pp. you can have all your mainstream Indians dishes and desserts and they also have a 'kids' area with egg rolls, noodles and other options for the less spicy palate.
