We had multiple servers during our visit. Some were super friendly, others not so much. One of the servers forgot to bring an item that we ordered.I rated the food two stars because, overall, I wasn't left satisfied after dining here. Nothing stood out on their menu, and I don't feel like we truly got $80 worth of food. My friend would slightly disagree because he loved the teriyaki and rice.I'm not sure if I would g... What Sophie Latchman doesn't like about August 8 Brampton:
Sushi could be more fresh. Maki rolls are limited. A lot of fried items on their menu. I'm not a fan of BBQ eel sauce which they do use in a few of their dishes. So if you are the same then I would steer clear of a few items. They have a nice fish tank and dining area. Over all for an all you can eat place it's reasonable but lacks in authenticity. Glad I found this place! Absolutely delicious and great service. I highly recommend the salmon tataki, white tuna tataki, and beef ribs. The only bad thing I can say is that their sushi rolls are too big and inconvenient to eat but other than that, we are already planning our next visit!Food: 5/5
Very busy restaurant with a great variety of food! We ordered more than we can eat! It was a high traffic area near the booth we sat. Next time we will sit at a quieter spot. Server Alison was helpful and friendly. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Ordered take out just now (1) Build your own box 36 PC's [6] Rolls of your choice cut up into 6 PC's. (2) 20 PC assorted Sashimi of your choice. Absolutely love the box it looks so elegant and is magnetic lid for closing. The freshness of the ingredients is amazing. Cost when ordered from SKIP THE DISH $80.82. BUT SO WORTH IT. Highly recommended and the atmosphere inside is very upscale and CLASSY.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options. And a good variety.
Everything was delicious, all you can eat your favorite dishes. I've been there before, and it did not disappoint, but I saw that the portion got smaller than it was before Covid. The food is still good, no complaints from me. The atmosphere is really seductive, like you're in a bar lounge. Overall, if you like varieties of sushi; this is a good place for you to try.
