Head Chef Dan and his team are dedicated to using the finest ingredients available, sourcing locally and even foraging in nearby woodlands. Specializing in game sourced from the local shoot during the shooting season, their menu offers a modern twist on classic pub food. Located on the Northumberland and Cumbrian border, with Hadrian's Wall just moments away, the hotel features a cozy drinking area with locally sourced ale, a chic restaurant, and 7 newly refurbished dog-friendly en-suite guest bedrooms. Additionally, they offer a 45 bed Hostel, making it the perfect base for your trip.

As always, the lunch menu offers great value, and the food is superbly cooked. The steak fries were amazing, and the rump steak is the best I've had in a long time—better than sirloin or filet. It was incredibly flavorful and tender. View all feedback.
