This was a re-visit for a lunch at the greenhead hotel, as we were so impressed by eating and service and ambiente when we visited a month ago. we were again ve... read more This was a re-visit for a lunch at the greenhead hotel, as we were so impressed by eating and service and ambiente when we visited a month ago. we were again very happy with our eating and the whole experience. when 7 of us this time we had different appetizers, haupt- and desserts, and they were all absolutely wonderful! the only complaint we have is that we wish we have lived closer so that we can visit more often!

The only negative, I felt, was that the service charge was added to the bill (I know the small print suggests we can ask for it not to be added beforehand but I felt too embarrassed to ask and I imagine many others do too! Personally, I prefer to decide how much of a 'tip ' I will leave (we always leave something based on our experience and what we can afford . If we return I am likely to order and pay for my drinks at the bar to avoid them being put on the bill and included in the 10% tip or ask for the tip not to be added to my bill.
