I had a wonderful experience at Santa's Grotto in the Frost Garden Center in Brampton. There was no waiting at all, and we've been visiting for three years now. Each time, we see the same lovely Santa and his helpers, which adds to the charm, especially for the photo opportunity at the end. The magical Christmas glasses were a delightful touch, and the kids absolutely loved choosing their toys at the end. It truly fe... View all feedback.
Lots of parking. a small dressing area. good candle selection. beautiful houseplant. currently in the early year an area for garden furniture. the internal homeware selection is small, but plentiful, although this is not the main event. the caffe. it is very popular, and most people seem to push on it. it can get to do peak times, and apparently I hear that it does a beautiful Sunday dinner. the selection of plants outdoors is a great size. excellent selection of roses. worth a visit.
Went to Frosts as we had never been before and usually go to a different garden centre. Was lovely to look around and they had a good selection of things both plants and not. We went to the cafe and had some breakfast. The prices were a little expensive but garden centres often are. I found my poached egg had hints of vinegar soaked into the bread. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or came from the egg but I'd have preferred without. Minor complaint though as we enjoyed the morning! Came back again and had afternoon tea which was lovely!
I liked coming in here to see the Christmas decorations and sitting in the cafe to have a cold drink/ice cream. There is a good range of products to choose from
I go to Frosts quite often for a cup of coffee and I'm always happy with the service and quality of coffee. All ladies are very nice and it's also clean and tidy inside. Tables are wiped immediately after customers leave so people can take the table immediately. Thumbs up :
This is a nice garden centre for a leisurely visit and to have lunch. The restaurant has good food and it's always clean and tidy with friendly staff. The actual garden centre has a wide range of plants, tree's and general gardening items. There is also a large shopping area with things like house plants, gifts and books. Overall a pleasant place to spend a few leisurely hours. I would have given the centre five stars but thought the plants were a bit on the expensive side, hence the four stars.
