We called into The White Horse for lunch earlier in the month and were surprised to find on entering there was no sign at all that the UK is in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic. There were no posters advising how they are dealing with this issue, no social distancing signs, no hand sanitising stations and we were not asked for any contact information for tracing purposes. Walked across from Birdbrook for a drink with our dog and ended up staying for a light meal. Had the whitebait and scampi and chips and finished over with the awesome biscoffee cheesecake. Good value and good service.
I had food poisoning from eating Stilton and broccoli quiche I have been ill for 3 days The food was well served and the restaurant was lovely and clean I just feel like the quiche was left out in the heat on the night the staff were very friendly and helpful
Great pub staff and owner are friendly and welcoming. Food is always good quality and selection of drinks great. Car park good size.
We had a lovely light/basketmeal which meant we had enough room for desert. Service, good price very reasonable. Good honest pub grub hard to find nowday. Thankyou a d well done.
Very tidy, friendly place, and I would recommend it.
