We had an amazing meal... read more I visited The Pheasant with my two sons (ages 11 and 8) while on a short trip in Cambridgeshire, based on a recommendation from a friend. We had an amazing meal at The Pheasant, and spent a peaceful hour reading on the couch in the bar beforehand. The pub is absolutely stunning! The atmosphere was friendly, the decor beautiful, the service top-notch, and the food was exceptional. We started with a few tapas dishes, followed by a magnificent turkey pie for myself and classic but well-done options for the kids. They were also very happy with their desserts. The wine list was great (unfortunately, I was driving) and our waitress provided impeccable service. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!
