I visited with 4 family members and was very happy with the food which was amazing. Just 2 points to note , no scones , don't sell Coca Cola? And way too cold . Would go again and recommend to friends and family View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Petals Tea Room:
The service at this restaurant is extremely slow. It took forty minutes for our order of a simple quiche and baguette, even though we were told it would only take fifteen minutes. The food was nothing special when it finally arrived, and overall, the experience was amateurish. I would recommend avoiding Petals Tea Rooms if you are hungry or diabetic, as the wait time for food could lead to ketoacidosis or a coma. View all feedback.
I have visited Petals multiple times with my husband and mother-in-law. The ambiance is unique, with plenty of interesting things to look at and enjoy while waiting for the freshly prepared food. There are no microwaves here, so the food is definitely worth the wait. It's a nice break from our busy lives to relax and enjoy a proper lunch while waiting for our meal. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, with big personalities and bright smiles. A big thank you to everyone, we will definitely be returning.

Julie and her team did a fantastic job hosting a wonderful Christmas dinner for our club members. The room was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy our meal. We were served turkey, stuffing, chipolatas, and a variety of freshly cooked vegetables. The dessert options were also great, as I chose the Eton Mess. Overall, it was a delightful experience and one of the best Christmas celebrations our club has had.
Found this wonderful little gem of a tea room just off the A1017 Halstead area. It is beautiful inside with comfy chintz chairs. We just stopped for coffee but we will be back on a later occasion as the home cooked food looked super. I...had the lemon drizzle cake which was served with cream a strawberry too. Staff were welcoming friendly. We will be back thank you.
Beautiful little cafe attached to a garden centre and retreat. Friendly staff and great menu. Ordered homemade quiche with new potatoes, salad and freshly made coleslaw. Amazing : Cake was equally fantastic. Highly recommended
