At first glance, it seemed like a typical... read more I had a pleasant surprise when I visited this Turkish restaurant with a clever name located on High Street in Witham. At first glance, it seemed like a typical takeout spot, but the upper area was beautifully decorated with turquoise and silver walls and hanging moonlights on the deck, giving off a vibe of sunny Istanbul rather than rainy Essex. Our waiter, Tyler, served us black olive with carrots and paprika with warm pita bread, and he was very knowledgeable and patient when discussing the menu with us. We decided to try the mixed cold meze, falafel, grilled halloumi, and Turkish-style liver and swirl, all of which were delicious. The acili ezme, a tomato-based dip with chili heat, balanced perfectly with the sweet ripe fruit. The dishes were all served at once, allowing us to taste everything together. Overall, it was a fantastic meal with excellent service.

The restaurant has a stunning ambiance, attentive staff, and is a perfect place to unwind. If fully booked at time of calling I suggest... read more Been here three times now. Food always excellent. Friday and Saturday night's are always busy and you need to book. If fully booked at time of calling I suggest you leave a number and if they get a cancellation you may be lucky. This happened to us on one occasion. Great venue for family celebration. Fantastic value for money. Generous portion sizes. Drinks reasonably priced. Lovely staff and friendly service. If you enjoy Turkish cuisine a MUST.

The atmosphe... read more Had a friend come and visit and we decided to give this place a go after bumping into someone who was raving about it. Now I can understand why!!!! The atmosphere was lovely, and we loved the fact it wasn't too cramped or too big a place. Service was great, food excellent and genuinely I couldn't fault anything. The value for money was unbelievable and I can't wait to go back! Thanks for a memorable meal! The squid starter was amazing!
