Feedback

★ 4.4 / 5 from 2905 reviews

Ifraaz Restaurant garners a spectrum of feedback, reflecting its potential and pitfalls. While some patrons rave about the delectable Bangladeshi-style cuisine, citing generous portions and attentive service, others express disappointment over tough meats and poorly cooked dishes. Reservations appear to be a challenge, with numerous reports of unresponsive staff. The ambiance is noted to be lively yet potentially noisy. On the positive side, many diners appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and commendable hospitality from the owner. With a blend of quality dishes and areas requiring attention, Ifraaz presents a dining experience that can charm or frustrate.

Food was nice, but some waiting staff seem a little inexperienced to be front of house for a restaurant that obviously prides itself on good Tripadvisor reviews. Buffet was quite expensive, and the restaurant honestly seem a bit nervous about losing money, hence the rules surrounding the buffet: Leftover food can 't be taken home (fair enough) excess leftover food may be charged for, everyone on the table must east the buffet, (so one person can not eat from the normal menu if others in the party are eating from the buffet). Staff wanted to know how many pieces of each starter we wanted, e.g Lamb Tikki. How many pieces? Two? Three? What would you give to someone ordering a starter off the normal menu? I 'll take that many please... Staff did not know the difference between the beers, saying 'it 's just a beer ' when asked the difference between two of the drafts. Small bottle of coke was £3.50. However, food was very nice which is the name of the game. Atmosphere was OK. Bill was quite expensive... I 'd go again if in a group.

We ordered lamb tikka and the meat was so tough and badly cooked we could not eat it. The Dhansak had uncooked lentils in it and was poorly prepared. The nan breads were stone cold. All in all we will not be eating here again very dissappointing and for what we paid 70 quid a rip off!

On a Saturday night it was so noisy, you get immediate drinks service but the food took quite a while and everything seems to be more red than we expected. It's OK and clearly very popular but I had expected more due to the ratings.

I tried Ifraaz for the first time last night and I was not disappointed. The service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, with generous portions and the best Indian cuisine I have ever had. I will definitely be returning as it offers fantastic value for money. Thank you so much! In terms of parking, there are ample options available. Overall, I highly recommend trying dishes such as Papadum for a starter, Biryani, Prawn Puree, Veg Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb Curry, Paneer Tikka Masala, Mushroom Rice, Chicken Tikka, King Prawn Shashlick, Chips, Lamb Vindaloo, Curried Calamari, Cashew Murgh, Lamb Tikka, Chicken Tikka Puree, Puree, Tetley Chairman Special, and Meat Samosa. There is plenty of parking space with free parking options.
