The food is of a very high standard. The staff are friendly and attentive. The pricing is fair. The decor is also very nice although the main entrance door and lobby are a bit bland, I think it used to be a bank. Also, as you would expect, people go outside to smoke, and although this is outside the restaurants’ control to an extent, on our last visit customers were standing and smoking on the steps right outside the... We have been going to the Cinnamon tree for many years, but now relocated, we found the service ok, and the food rather average lots of sauce, little protein/main fill and just not very exciting or as authentic as times past. I adore the new location! It's the top choice in the area!
The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The heating was on, so none of us were cold. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The only downside was the unexpected service charge that was added to our bill. While it is stated on the menu, it can easily be overlooked. It was disappointing to end our meal with a 10% service charge, especially after spending a significant amount as a large group.
