An unfortunately poor experience. Took just under two hours to get our food out and it was not worth the wait. The fried items tasted as if the oil was burnt, the items were very cheap and some appetizers were cold. Stick to the drinks if you are stopping by here. View all feedback.
This was my first visit to Husker Bar II and I was not disappointed. The fish fritter was excellent, with the option of cod, carp, or walleye. I chose the walleye and it was moist, flavorful, and definitely worth the extra few dollars. I'm not sure what the secret ingredient in the macaroni salad is, but it was delicious. Other family members ordered the carp and were also pleased with the size and taste.
This restaurant is a beloved establishment in the Brainard community! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Be sure to visit during Lent for fantastic fish and seafood options.

Rude lady answering the phone. I was Just trying to order and she made me feel like I was a bother.Get a different job then.
I really enjoyed this cozy small town bar! Even though I didn't try the food, the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I definitely plan to come back and dine here in the future. I would rate the service a 5 and the atmosphere a 4.
