I chose the walle... read more This was my first visit to Husker Bar II and I was not disappointed. The fish fritter was excellent, with the option of cod, carp, or walleye. I chose the walleye and it was moist, flavorful, and definitely worth the extra few dollars. I'm not sure what the secret ingredient in the macaroni salad is, but it was delicious. Other family members ordered the carp and were also pleased with the size and taste.

The fried items tasted as if the oil was burnt, the items were very cheap and some appetizers were cold. Stick to the drinks if you are stopping by here.

I definitely plan to com... read more I really enjoyed this cozy small town bar! Even though I didn't try the food, the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I definitely plan to come back and dine here in the future. I would rate the service a 5 and the atmosphere a 4.
