Apparently, some strange photos were added in the assessment that do not belong to this beautifully situated pasture and irritate. The location is phenomenal with a view of the Hohe Gaisl and the Monte Cristallo. We were very pleased with the service and also with the food one of the dishes with Polandta must be tasted. We stopped coming down from Mount Species. Very nice girls, typical environment, beautiful view. Excellent and plentiful half moons, very good weiss. The apple juice, on the other hand, is rather anonymous and so the dish of eggs, potatoes and speck (theoretically with the onion, but it was not there). A margue like a lot. View all feedback.
My wife and I have been seeing these places for over a decade. Climbing up Mount Species, yesterday we decided to stop for lunch in this hut and not at the Vallandro refuge as we usually do and where we always ate very well. With our two friends we stopped here for reasons of route time. _ Two polenta dishes, served cold and with dry-looking finferli, without any seasoning and with grass wires. the friends ordered a tris of canederli to butter, practically insapori. The refuge is located in Prato Piazza, beautiful trekking to do for those who want to immerse themselves in the Heart of the Dolomites. The shelter has a beautiful view and the dishes are great, as well as the prices. You must try the polenta with cheese and speck and the cutting board “prato piazza”... MONDIALI! Given the excellent smell, we would also want to try the strudel, but the portions are really huge and therefore we were full. Low prices: 1 dish of polenta cheese and speck, 1 cutter ( huge), two beers of 0.5 32 euros total! Given the goodness of food you must stop!
I promised to leave a review at this place once back from the holidays. Enchanted place, beautiful day, food not bad but the environment is the strong point of the place. honest prices. The owner delighted us with his music during lunch, it seemed to be in paradise. PS. They allowed us to recharge electric bikes. 10 thanks we will definitely return
After a two-week South Tyrolean hiking holiday this was the hut that will remain in memory for the longest and longest. delicious food, attentive service, correct prices. also from me the tip that occurs here to irritate the strange photos.
