Below average food Terrible service. Waited ages to be served, even though the place was not busy. Then had to ask three times to get the bill, in the end going to the counter to pay because we still had no bill View all feedback.
Ambiente acolhedor com grande simpatia, sempre um gosto para visitar este café.
Discovered Ferreira Capa for lunch early on during my week in Braga, and returned several times for lunch, breakfast or just a coffee. Close to the main town square, but just far enough away to be at a distance from the big crowds and pricier 'tourist trap ' restaurants. Good menu with a constantly-changing selection of very reasonably-priced lunchtime specials. Great service, and a lovely terrace to sit outside and enjoy people-watching!
I visited this place just after 6pm and was given a menu that only had ice cream and other sweets. When I said that I wanted some proper food for dinner, I was given a different menu and shown the page with toasted sandwiches and told that the kitchen was now closed so toasted sandwiches were the only option. I admit that it was nice but only as a snack. Not so much an evening dinner. I would have thought 6pm would be exactly the time of day when the kitchen would be serving food. In summary, nice food for a snack but check the opening hours if you want a proper meal.
On the advice of another review we shared the Brunch (9.50€ and even then couldn't eat it all. Service was a bit offhand to begin with but the waitress soon warmed up a bit. Would recommend as a good value breakfast stop
Pessoas simpáticas e acolhedoras.
