We were stuffed follow... read more We enjoyed a delicious Portuguese meal here on our first day in Braga. Its not in the main area of restaurants but its a short walk away. We were stuffed following the meals which were only 20 euro each, including wine.The staff were friendly and engaging, answering all our newbie questions with a smile.

Broad wine selection of the region and Sommelier gave us lots of information on the wine we eventually chose. The place was calm and not too busy, nice atmosphere. Food didn't take long to arrive and was a mix of local classics with a modern twist. Service was prompt and polite- spoke good English and well informed on the dishes. Overall lovely experience of Braga.

I 've had bad experiences with restaurants before so I 'm always a little wary of going anywhere new, but I later learned she 'd gone there before and really enjoyed it. We had an absolutely amazing time, the restaurant is beautiful and extremely comfortable, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, there was barely any wait (unlike most places around Braga where you can wait up to an hour sometomes) and what can I say about the food? It was absolutely stunning and delicious and, for the price, the servings were actually pretty generous, unlike some other very popular restaurants in the area (the concept places where you spend an inordinate amount for three spoonfuls of food). I had lofty expectations given the date and Delicatum surpassed them completely with flying colors. This might honestly be my new favorite restaurant in Braga, Portugal. Highly recommended, will visit again.
