The staff was friendly and provided good recommendations. We ordered the octopus (Polvo à Lagareiro). It was a dish for 2. The octopus was soft and tender, perfectly seasoned. One of the best we have had. The waiter recommended a Alma Do Paço wine (wine from Douro region). It paired well with the octopus and was very fairly priced. Overall, the restaurant was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend!

Th... read more The food looks good, but it doesn 't taste like that. Some Entradas were sold out of nowhere, but the waiter wanted us to order prawns (typically expensive). The bread to the entrada was maybe toasted the day before? I hope not. Water is served in a plastic water bottle. Speechless. Bacalhau was okay, but very dry and too much fried. Pataniscas were ordered 1/2 dose, but the waiter brought a whole dose, which is too much for a woman. Apparently, it was impossible to cut the portion in half. Furthermore, the Pataniscas were tasteless and dry. However, the waiter charged Pataniscas, although my woman didn 't eat one of them! Sorry, but It is outrageous and disproportionate to the price. The worst of all was the bad service! The waiter is very intrusive. After our complaint he didn 't even apologize! Never again! Decoration is not everything.
