Dinner was ok, but we won’t be back. With all the fabulous restaurants in Braga, there are many better options than Colher d'Pau Taberna. Service was adequate. I had the shrimp in puff pastry and my husband had the fried cod and potatoes. Both were ok, but not very flavorful. Average meal. View all feedback.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Braga. The location, ambience, food quality, and service quality are all superb. The duck pastry is always cooked perfectly. I've heard the duck rice is equally fantastic. And pretty much anything else on the menu. The servers are always friendly and attentive. I'm still learning Portuguese and there has always been someone able to speak English if necessary. The menus are in several different languages as well. I have brought friends and family here and all have enjoyed. I highly recommend!
Perfect for all occasions, owner and employees really nice! Food was unbelievably good!!
Terrific old school Portuguese, with some interesting dishes we have never before. Ambiance was uber romantic. Lovely little side street far enough away from the hustle, but still walking distance. Excellent Douro wine selections, at reasonable prices. Maybe 10 tables inside, in a 16th century stonewalled building
A small restaurant in a great localisation (Braga center), with a wonderful and warful service. Highly recommended for a good meal, in a peacful ambiance. Perfect place to enjoy a good time.
We enjoyed our dinner at the Colher d'pau very much. The food was delicious and the waitresses were very kind and attentive. Surely, we can recommend it.
