Real, homemade typical Portuguese food! From the simple workers fare to the holiday dishes, this family does it all, and does it well! A charming family-based restaurant tucked away in a once-typical neighborhood that still clings to some of its specificities. It's the epitome of a Portuguese typical restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

The family has been here as far as anyone remembers and the quality of the home flavoured cooking does attest to it! Try any of the typical Portuguese dishes, from the 'pataniscas ' to the 'sarrabulho ' thus place has yet to disapoint.

Have visited often, never once been disappointed. Traditional, well-cooked tasty food. Don 't miss the 'pataniscas ' as a starter.

We walked into this quiet restaurant tucked away on the street to be greeted by a very friendly man. He spoke very little English, recommended the daily special which was a local chicken and rice dish and it was very tasty. Served with a basket of local bread and soup the total cost was 6€ each. Would recommend this restaurant if you want a taste of true local cuisine.

On a wet October evening, we received a very friendly welcome from a waitress with limited English, and then from the chef and son of the family who made us really welcome. I ate the bacalhau, codfish in the house, therefore Braga style. Really delicious. My wide had the duck. In both cases the cooking was perfect and the proportions generous. To finish an excellent chocolate mousse accompanied by a pleasant port wine. The slightly frizzante house wine is very good. All in all, a great evening in a small very local restaurant. It may not be on the centre, but it is well worth walking to! Note, they do not take cards, so have cash. Food is very inexpensive though and excellent value for money.
