His english was not good,... read more We were walk ins, but it was early and the place was quiet. The manager was welcoming and willing to help us with our choice of meal. His english was not good, but adequate and communication was effective. Our friends tried the cod which was the best that they have experienced. My wife and I had different veal dishes which were excellent, but larger than we could manage. The pear dessert was exquisite. The Douro valley wine we enjoyed as we did the house port at the end of the meal.
