The wine selection was good and the staff made so... read more The setting of the restaurant was really nice, set in a little square by a church, with cosy outdoor lighting. The wine selection was good and the staff made some nice recommendations. Unfortunately, the food was very expensive (a starter of a single prawn in a tasteless sauce costing €22). We're happy to pay those prices if the food justifies the cost, but this wasn't the case. Everything was presented nicely, but completely lacked in flavour the restaurant was style over substance. All of the food was served either tepid or cold. The bread and oil served after we ordered was the best part of the meal, although let down with a selection of tasteless vegetable purees that added nothing. The restaurant is worth a visit for a drink in the nice surroundings, but the food offering is poor. Fine dining is not just about presentation, but about quality, which unfortunately wasn't there.
