I've been eager to try this restaurant for a while, and I finally got the chance today, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was the main reason for my visit, while my wife opted for the four-piece fish dinner. With their claim of having the best chicken fried steak in Texas, they truly delivered. Each bite of steak was packed with meat—unlike many other places—and the meat was both tender and full of flavor. My wife found her fish a bit too salty for her taste, but I thought it was quite good, so it really just comes down to personal preference. She also mentioned that the hushpuppies were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the restaurant and will definitely return to try their all-you-can-eat catfish.
The food was great, and the pecan pie with ice cream was absolutely delightful!
Great local business! We had a table of 3. Two got the Chicken Fried Steak and I got the Stuffed Mushroom Burger. This place definitely has a perk to it: you top your burger! They had a deli-bar for burger toppings to make your burger your way.
The food and service were fantastic! Additionally, they are very military-friendly and embody the values of the USMC. Thank you for your support!
Ate here twice never again food isn’t that great and very dirty nats in the veggies for burgers people use the ice scoop then just drop it back down in ice machine disgusting I don’t recommend it at all.
