Today about twenty of us had lunch at The Village Inn , although we were a bit crowded, we didnt expect so many to show,we were treated fantastically by the entire staff, the food was very good too. A special thank you to our waitress who was wonderful View all feedback.
Went for breakfast on Monday. It was fine.Took a friend after work today and ordered 4 piece Fried chicken. The Waitress(One of owners )brought to my table and Chicken was the ugliest most horrible pieces I had ever seen. My friend ask me what is that?Chicken had been dipped with loads of flour but bones of chicken were sticking out all over, it was burned in some places and breast looked like one big knot. I call the waitress over and showed her and complained to her so she took back. She did not apologize and ask me if I wanted to order anything else.Anyhow I reordered just a chicken breast sandwich with coleslaw. When I opened up the bun there was only a few pieces of chicken and I guess the cook or her had cut little pieces off some of other chicken and placed on bun with cheese. It definitely wasn’t chicken breast.I paid for the sandwich and cole slaw but she added $2.99 for the cup of soup I had eaten from previous order..My friend and I paid cash and left.No tipping given to this individual and we do not plan on returning .
The service was fantastic for our family of six, everyone was full and happy after eating and they really knocked it out of the park with the pie Kid-friendliness: Treated my five year old like a princess
Visit regularly. Food is great. Service is quick and menu reasonable.
Friendly, exceptionally clean, reasonable and #1 best food!
The open turkey sandwich was horribly salty. I believe the gravy was the main culprit. My wife did like her BLT. It was a nice spot with very good service. I will try to go again sometime and try a different dish.
