La Siesta Authentic Mexican Cuisine

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, and I truly believe the food is outstanding. We frequently order takeout, and the service is always fantastic—I can't praise the staff enough! However, I think the restaurant could really benefit from a renovation. The atmosphere feels a bit dated, and the cleanliness could use some improvement. For example, the carpet looks like it’s been there for over 20 years! Don’t get me wrong, the food is excellent; it just needs an updated look to match its high quality. I’m a huge fan! That said, I was disappointed that I had to return my shrimp tostadas because the shrimp was not fresh.

I had a really disappointing experience with the tacos at this restaurant. I ended up having to throw away $14 worth because they were just awful. I can’t recommend this place, and I won’t be going back. The food was simply terrible. Meal type: Lunch. Price per person: $10–20. Food rating: 1 star.

The food was not great at all. But the service from whoever was working at the front desk was even worse. Our waiter was great. He was new and doing his best. However the manager or owner or whoever was at the front desk went as far as saying that I don't know what Mexican restaurants you've ever been to but yeah the chips and salsa are not free . As if to imply that you can't get free chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants, like that's an unheard of concept. For $15 a meal it should taste amazing. It was worse than Taco Bell.
