The service was excellent, the meal was delicious, and the restaurant had a local touch. It would be even better if the main dining area was dog-friendly. Currently, dogs are only allowed in the pool room, which can get noisy with drinkers.

The Bronte Hotel is a fantastic old-fashioned pub that offers excellent hand-pulled beer and delicious bar food. During our visit, we tried the lasagne and haddock, which were both excellent. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us.

A group of four of us went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. We received a warm welcome and were served promptly. We appreciated the option of smaller meals and enjoyed dishes such as roast pork, pie, and lasagna - all of which were very tasty as evidenced by our empty plates. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and traditional, providing a nice and relaxing environment that is a welcome change from many modernized restaurants. We definitely plan on returning in the future.
