What Marie Abernathy likes about Nostimo Greek Souvlaki House:
Apparently, they ran out of rice and potatoes because of a busy dinner hour. They were really nice about it and very apologetic. So we had pitas. They even gave us fresh rice and fries at no charge. My kids loved the chicken. I had the gyros. It was a bit dry and the pita sandwiches were not warm. But overall good taste. We'll be back. View all feedback.

I usually have fantastic greek food when I go out... so I had to try this place in Bradford.. I wanted a souvlaki on a bun... No sorry, only have it on a pita... Ok I will have it on a pita... waited a long...time even when the place was empty... ok if its worth it? will see.. nope it totally tasted like it came out of a bottle... not impressed... first and last time... at least I tried... At first we always use to see this little hidden place whenever we would drive down Holland St. to Newmarket. One evening a business friend of mine was visiting and was wondering if we could get something different....cue the enlightening music in the background....Nostimo'sHey this place looks brand new.Huh... It was kinda busy or busy by Bradford restaurant standards. I always order the Gyro when I get Greek food, what the guy before us got the last one? Ok so the owner recommended I get the Pork souvlaki and it would be another 2 minutes.... She said it would be crab and hot. The portion was big, yup the souvlaki was juicy, the rice was extremely flavourful. I have never heard this colleague get this quiet, he looked very happy with our choice. I hen he finally spoke he said that he was pleasantly surprised as was I.I have been back there atleast once a week unless travelling....and have tried other items on their menu... It's good, very good... Welcome to the area Nostkmo's.... I am a little sad now that everyone on Tripadvisor will know about my little hidden gem...I always look forward to eating here.

We found this restaurant and decided to try it because of reviews here. The food was good, friendly service. You order and get your meal at the counter and can either sit at a table or get it to go. This menu is simple but felt authentic. A quick meal when you need it. Not fine dining but good food.
