Smoothie King - Bradenton

We visited this restaurant, which we frequent often, and ordered a yogurt with cocoa and bananas. After my daughter tried it and found it was not correct, we went back through the line to inform the staff. The second time, they mistakenly added peanut butter, which could have been dangerous if she had a peanut allergy. The workers seemed distracted as two friends in a golf cart came by the window to chat.

The smoothies at this restaurant are really delicious! I visited with my mom and we both enjoyed them very much. Keep up the great work!

I was disappointed with the service and quality at this Smoothie King franchise. I hope the management will take note and improve their quality control. I will be driving the extra 5 miles to the next location from now on. After receiving a generic response from the owner to my email, I felt the need to share my experience. I visit Smoothie King almost daily, usually going to the location on Lockwood and University. However, on Saturday, I visited a different location. I ordered 4 smoothies for $23 and change, including 3 choca cura and 1 coffee high protein with a pure recharge add-on. As we were leaving, my children noticed that the texture of the smoothies was strange, with the bottom half being watery and the top half resembling flavored ice. The taste was terrible, and it seemed like an important ingredient was missing. Upon checking my own smoothie 45 minutes later, I realized there was no pure recharge added as I had paid for. It's concerning that customers who add supplements to their smoothies may not be receiving what they paid for. I will stick to visiting the Lockwood and University location, which I highly recommend to others as well. The staff at the problematic location were friendly, but it seems like more training and quality control inspections are needed.

I was mad that they didn’t completely fill my cup but I guess it didn’t matter because it was disgusting anyway. I ordered what I usually ordered which is a coffee hulk and it’s usually good from other smoothie kings. It doesn’t usually look disgusting like it does in the photo either. This thing tasted like 1/4 a banana and 1/2 scoop of the cheapest chocolate protein shake you can think of blended into 32oz of ice. That’s it, it was incredibly nasty. I could have frozen the water in my dogs bowl and blended it together and it would have tasted better.
