Seafood Shack - Bradenton

Had lunch here yesterday. Lindsay was the bartender/server. She was super friendly and attentive. She recommended the ribs for lunch and they were really good. Full rack of smoked baby back ribs, fries and slaw $13.95! Can't beat it!

Really dreadful hamburgers--dry, overcooked and tasteless. So disappointing. We won't be going back.

What can you say about a perfect restaurant rustic friendly atmosphere. Fish was so fresh it tasted like it jumped out of the ocean. But seriously this was a great restaurant with superior food i would i will always come here when i visit Florida and you should too

In summary: Terrible service. Food was good for some, cold for others. 18% Gratuity on parties 6 or more. My complaints can mostly be attributed to the waitress. We had a party of 7. 1. We had to ask specially to receive a specials menu. 2. Our waitress only offered 1 extra water, with no other waters refilled or replacements for our empty drinks. (After over an hour after our food was order and 1st drinks received, an alternate waitress offered us water refills) 3. Our food took roughly an hour and a half, which is understandable besides the fact that half our meals were cold. 4. I ordered my burger's pickles and tomato on the side, and did not receive them. (And the burger was undercooked and cold) I would have been able to walk away without making a yelp account specifically for this complaint, but the very fine print at the bottom of the menu, after the notification that ordering undercooked food is your responsibility, it noted that our waitress was going to automatically receive 18% gratuity from any party of 6 or more including us.

We were really hungry and saw this restaurant so decided to try it. Although seaside, the view is mainly of boats which obstruct the view. Met by a very serious waiter--bad day? Ordered seafood chowder, and the seafood was so small it was lost in the broth. Ordered fish sandwich of the day and the po-boy and neither were noteworthy. Cannot recommend.
