Linger Lodge Restaurant Bar - Bradenton

So, my brother recommended this place. Great recommendation!! Had the appetizer platter. Fried green tomatoes, frogs legs and gater bites...grilled. Best ever..really ..best ever. The rum runner was very good also. Old Florida. Cool ambience. Stuffed animals everywhere. Overlooking cool water...almost swamp. Kinda out of the way...but well worth the visit. Secluded and quiet on a Thursday afternoon.

Food was amazing, one of the best burgers I've ever had. Definitely make a reservation if you want to sit outside. Service was ok...but food was so good, that I still gave it 5 stars. Highly recommend the Linger Burger!

Great ambiance! Seafood was so good! Try the gator bites, tender-lightly breaded, and the dip was delicious! Mahi sandwich was tender and flavorful, Catfish cooked just right!! Coleslaw was sweet- could of eaten a big bowl, and French fries or home cooked kettle chips were perfect!! Ended our meal with yummy Key Lime pie and Cheesecake! Another good experience at Linger Lodge. Although our group THOUGHT they had made reservations, it turned out we hadn't. They were able to seat all 23 of us anyway and we were served promptly by several friendly wait staff. My waitress, Jade, was very personable, pleasant, and efficient. The catfish reuben sandwich and chips were excellent.

It's been a few years since I've been here and WOW all the updates are great! Gated RV park and everything is paved (parking lot, drive, sites). The restaurant is nice and the wait staff is too!
