Contribute FeedbackThis restaurant offers a mix of experiences, from disappointment to delight. Many found the food disappointing, with dishes like overcooked scallops, gelatinous creamed spinach, and large appetizer portions. The establishment struggles with deciding its identity between a bar and a serious Italian restaurant. Critiques include a noisy environment, using music, and allowing smoking at tables near the dining area. However, there are positive reviews about the delicious food, great service, and cozy ambiance. For those seeking authentic Italian cuisine, the restaurant offers a pleasant surprise with dishes like veal Romano and Greens Morelle. Overall, opinions vary, but it's worth a visit to decide for yourself.
We brought our mother to dinner while we had all flown in to visit our sister. The service was attentive but the ambiance and the food was middle of the road. Nothing special, did not taste as though pasta was handmade, I tasted my brothers. I had the mussels and the broth was not very rich. It was our first evening in Florida and we enjoyed the evening together but I wish the food was more surprisingly delicious
Truly authentic Italian cuisine! We were pleasantly surprised to meet Chef Daniel. Our server was attentive and friendly. The veal Romano was delicious! Try the Greens Morelle for an appetizer, wonderful! This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last
Service: Only one waitress for the entire restaurant on a Thursday night in season. Several tables had dirty dishes and the one server had to do everything; bus tables, seat customers, take food orders and deliver food. We felt for her.Ambiance: Dive bar vibe with discolored concrete floors, wornlooking tables and chairs and bathroom with peeling paint and cracked mirror. Bar was busy with customers and TV playing. Restaurant less busy and quiet.Food: Disappointing. Appetizer and entree came out together, so difficult to enjoy both at ideal temperature. Took most of appetizer home. Leek risotto was very good. Scallops were overcooked to the point of leather color and taste. Creamed spinach was a gelatinous mess. Aracini appetizer was tasty but the portion was quite large for the amount of sauce with it.I think they need to decide is they are a bar with some food offerings or a serious Italian restaurant. Also recommend they stop letting the bar customers smoke at the table right in front of the dining room window. Watching a parade of smokers put out their cigarettes in an overflowing ashtray and run back into the bar isn't very appetizing
When there is music scheduled the noise level is high. There are many places in Bradenton which serve more authentic Italian food. We will not return to this restaurant
Second visit, second amazing experience. Wonderful service the food was some of the best ever and the pumpkin spice martini was the best ending to a lovely meal. The next day my leftover lasagna was delicious! Well done
