Kelsey's On Cortez - Bradenton

The place may be a bit small but the service food make it HUGE! I went on a Tuesday($2 BURGER TUESDAY lol) where Chicago Kelly was working the bar,..very friendly and informative/helpful with menu items and such. This was my first time here and was welcomed by all I came in contact with….a BIG plus! I ordered my burger and it was cooked just the way I asked for and was delicious…..it was so good I had to order a second one! lol The staff here are ALL friendly make you feel welcome. Have told many friends and people about KELSEY’S ON CORTEZ and they are now regulars too!

Had hot wings and a Cheddar Mountain Burger. Will be back for more

Thursday night wing Night. Prices went up but I can understand that with food cost. .60c to .75c for wings that have gone down in quality. Service is lacking. We were there on this past Sunday and it was dead. We waited an hour just for our food to get to the table. The waitress was definitely going through something, drunk or stoned on a different level. She was all over the place for the beginning. (Forgot to put our order in) Made up for it in the end sort of. I never leave a bad tip though. Our beer on Sunday was not good. It didn?t taste like what it was supposed to be. Now today Thursday wing night was better but still very disappointing. Our 4.75$ order of fries was comparable to a McDonald?s small and they were soggy and gross. I have a little sympathy for the new owners. I can?t imagine how difficult it is to take over someone?s business and make it your own. But why change so many things. And the staff that has been there? They must?ve been doing good to be opened for so long. They?re all gone now. I?m disappointed in the new Kelsey?s. PLEASE DONT ORDER DESERT!!!! Gonna have to find a new wing night spot?. And I?ve been fair and gave several chances to keep my business.

I ordered online.. last order of the day to be delivered by doordash.. was almost a 200.00 order... did not receive 4 orders of coconut shrimp but instead 4 orders of regular shrimp. Missing completely 2 orders of loaded fries, one order of 6 chicken wings and one order of 10 chicken wings... called back and was told I don 't know what to tell you as this person had been there only two weeks and the other employee for 2 days.. No manager. Called doordash and left a voicemail. Called restaurant next day and message was taken by bartender and sent to owner.. supposedly. No return call, no 40.00 refund for items never received!

Tim is an awesome bartender. Wings were big and cooked perfect. Drink's are a little pricey for Happy Hour but had a great time.
