The peel and eat shrimp left much to be desired, but the service from Melissa and May was exceptional. The open-air dining area offered a relaxed setting, although the promised sunset views were obstructed. The vegetarian-friendly menu, including the Impossible Burger, was appreciated. Overall, Caddy's may be hit or miss depending on expectations, but for those seeking a casual, beachy vibe with attentive service, it could be a worthwhile choice.
The view is amazing, right on the point of the Manatee River. The service was good. Music bingo was fun.
Food was good but could have been hotter. It tasted good though!
We ate on the deck area parallel to the river. The view was very nice, and the noise level was low enough for easy conversation. Our server, Michelle, was friendly, relaxed, and attentive without being in the least disruptive. Our food arrived hot from the kitchen and was exactly what we'd ordered. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch by the water before continuing our trip.
Was very nice sitting on the terrace. that was delicious. love that they offer the impossible burger as replacement for us plant-based people. we used to go to whiskey joe’s, but they took the plant-based burger from the menu so that they don’t have anything I can eat there anymore.
Roger was fantastic as server. we had both painted him that we went to caddy’s and come back safe.
