What VixenVixen doesn't like about Two Sisters Cafe:
Over priced and unexciting. Was here with friends and it was a very disappointing breakfast. They wouldn’t fry eggs and would only do scrambled. The coffee was bitter. The avocado on toast looked like half an avocado on toast, it really did look sad. Next time I’m in crowthorne I’ll look for somewhere else. The girl on the till was completely void of a personality too which didn’t help. How difficult is it to be frie... View all feedback.
Even though we arrived 20 minutes before closing time we were given a friendly welcome. Good sandwiches made with decent bread and plenty of filling, excellent drinks selection. Very dog friendly and dogs even get their own menu. Great customer service and so good to be able to support local independent businesses.
I work for a local learning trust and we have used Two Sisters twice recently for a working lunch. Delivered on time, the quality and quantity of food were first class. Great choice of rolls with plenty of filling. Nice crisps as well. The fruit and cake options were excellent and again there was plenty of both. Highly recommended
On our way to our appointement and needed to get something for breakfast on the way, as we were passing through Crowthorne thought we would try the Two Sisters Cafe. Sadly no parking around so had to park quite some distance in order to go in, so that was quite an inconvenience. Ordered two Big Bacon Sarnies and Two Posh Cheese and sun dried Tomato toasties. Arrived at our destination and thought we would have a quick bite, before heading in. Bread was ok, but the bacon extremely poor quality and quite salty, so did need to drink quite a lot of water, during eating. Post cheese and Tomato Toasties, which was supposed to be with sundried tomatoes, was poor quality cheese, which was tasteless and standard slice of Tomato, These were inedible for my wife. Had we been eating close to the Cafe or inside, would have complained immediately about the food, but we were in a hurry to get to our appointment so we have to put this down to a bad experience of food for us and so feel strongly that a review was in order, to let others know about our experienc, to give them an insight to what they could expect from this Cafe. Positives. Clean appearance inside the Cafe when went in to order and staff were friendly. Negatives: Poor quality food produce used. Advertised Posh Cheese and Sundried Tomato on menu is not what I received. Pricing is far too high. Lack of Parking, close to the Cafe. 1 star awarded for Bacon Sandwhich 0 stars awarded for Cheese and Tomato Toasties by my wife as deemed inedible. Sadly cannot recommend for the above reasons, due to the above and will not try them again. Such a shame.
Sometimes it’s nice to get out of the house with two small children for a little bit of lunch, which makes it quite an occasion and big deal so you want to find somewhere that is not too fancy, can cater for little ones and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. We found this at Two Sisters, the menu is varied and covers all tastes. Although there was a steady stream of customers we received good service and our order was brought out in good time. It tasted and the portion sizes were just right. The staff appeared happy and genuinely passionate about what they were providing
Visited on Sunday for first time having just moved to the area. Had imagined it would be really good due to it being run by family members and general appearance. First issue was choice. Pretty much nothing on the main menu was available. Only baguettes and paninis. Only white baguettes as apparently they don't get bread delivery on a Sunday. Why? It's a Sunday and surely a key day of trading? Not a huge issue and I went ahead and ordered a BLT baguette. Baguette was appalling really. Cheap bread, similar to frozen style, one big of bacon in each half, miserable sprinkling of Lettuce and tomato. It was just a disappointing offering for over £5 and what I had expected and hoped would be a high quality rustic place. Coffee (Americano) also tasted very weak. The cafe does so fantastic looking pasties, sausage rolls, and goods like this. That's why I was even more disappointed with my experience. Please stop offering these baguettes or at least improve them. I paid a total of £12 for two coffees and two baguettes. My friends was equally poor. I'm not sure if staff are different on Sundays, but my impression was that they were new or helping out with to give owners a rest.
