Stratton Arms
Description
Welcome to The Stratton Arms! Step into a place rich with history—before becoming a pub, this very building was the village morgue, complete with a tunnel leading to the church which now serves as our unique cellar. We warmly welcome families, children, and dogs alike, ensuring everyone feels at home. Our venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and ample parking is available for your convenience. Whether you're planning a quiet meal, a private dining experience, or just dropping in, reservations are easy to make by phone. Our kitchen has recently reopened with a carefully curated menu offering classic favourites and contemporary twists. On the first Tuesday of every month, Kan’s Kitchen joins us with their fantastic Thai street food, perfect to enjoy alongside your favourite pub refreshment. Moreover, we regularly host a variety of pop-up food vans serving everything from traditional English dishes to Sri Lankan, Jamaican/Ghanaian fusion, smash burgers, hot dogs, and more. We cater to diverse dietary needs with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, ensuring everyone's tastes are covered. Enjoy hearty mains like Farm Fresh Cumberland Sausage and Mash, pies with chips and peas, freshly baked pizzas with a crispy crust, locally sourced burgers from our village butcher, or indulge in our popular Dirty Fries topped with chilli, cheese, and sour cream. Take advantage of our beer garden on sunny days, catch live music or your favourite sports on TV, all while staying connected with free Wi-Fi. For those travelling in motorhomes, we offer a convenient stop-over site. Come experience The Stratton Arms – a family-friendly, dog-friendly hub where history, great food, and warm community spirit come together. We look forward to welcoming you soon!.

Food was fantastic and owners were great. Atmosphere was great too. Plenty of room to park motorhome plus electric. Toilets were all that let it down. Definitely go back though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
