Petrie Hotel - Bracken Ridge

Enoggera Terrace runs like a ridge that overlooks Brisbane City.

Have visited this local pub several times and cant fault the food.Only a small kitchen but pumps out good wholesome food. Authentic home style food. Great selection of beers and wines. Very friendly staff Great for families. Lovely kids area where children can play and be observed by there parents as a glass enclosure keeps them safe. Great pool room, and poker machine area. Beautiful refurbished verandah area where in summer/ spring you can enjoy dinner your meal in the qld outdoors.This Pub still has the feeling of an old Aussie Country Pub. Keep up the good work everyone. There are not enough of these style pubs left. We need to keep our Aussie heritage Aussie alive. Very easy to find modern eating facilities which become very boring after a while.

Good food great value. The veranda on a nice sunny day is to be experienced, good friends and good food, a great location without traveling for hours

We have been twice and both times i have had a pretty decent meal however both times the hubby has hated his!! going by hubby we won't be visiting again, they have a but one get one for $7 meal on a thursday so go give it a go!!

My Parents are visiting from up North Queensland, and we decided today to visit the Petrie Hotel for a lovely family lunch together - what a mistake. The young lady waitress that served us was extremely rude and derogatory, when my elderly Mother who suffers a medical condition, asked the waitress if one of the dishes on the menu came with chips (as it clearly did not mention on the menu what extras that the dish came with), the waitress gave her reply and my Mum simply asked this waitress politely again to confirm, and the waitress in an extremely rude and derogatory tone told my Mum that she had already said that!! I intervened and politely suggested to the waitress that I felt she spoke in a very rude manner, and the waitress turned her back on us and left us standing there and served someone else!! My Mum became very distressed and immediately wanted to leave. I re-approached the waitress and asked her for her name (no name badge), she refused and then stormed off. I have to say I have never experienced such appalling customer service anywhere ever! I would never set foot back in the Petrie Hotel again. Such a disappointing negative experience.
