Great food, wonderful staff. Typically decorated with Mexican touches. Unfortunately restaurant is down a side street so may be missed by passing traffic. Good value. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Montezumas Mexican Restaurant:
One staff member on the floor with a packed restaurant. We didn't stay. Poor waiter said owner would not pay staff to work on Sunday but there will no customers if this keeps up View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the service is great! When we visited this evening, a young 17-year-old girl was working by herself during peak time and she did an excellent job. Unfortunately, she had to deal with a rude and nasty customer who was causing trouble a few tables away. It was clear that she was doing her best to handle the situation, and no one deserves to be treated that way.
Have reviewed this place before and overall was good. Now, I would not normally bother reviewing again but felt compelled to due to the worst service EVER!!! The three of us went for dinner and were met by a waitress who was having a BAD...DAY and decided to take it out on us. Rude Silent Had to get our own drinks from the counter Ignored us the entire time The only reason I did not walk out is because my wife's uncle is elderly and will not do such a thing. There could be a number of factors for her mood swings. Condolences to the person who has to put up with her.
Visited Albany Creek restaurant on Easter Thursday. The restaurant was about half full but the atmosphere was good. The staff were both happy helpful. Once we ordered, it only took a short time till the starters arrived at our table. Than the enjoyment begins....The starters were good but the mains were fantastic. Good size helpings with lots of flavour. Most of the mains seemed to cost between each, which we all thought was good value on the night. A top night was had by all in my party.
We a hungry family of adults and Teenagers) visited on a busy Friday night. Place was packed and we had to wait minutes for a large enough table. I found the decor quiet tacky but the food made up for that....Well worth the wait for a table. We had the half serving of Nachos with pulled pork to begin which was really tasty although a larger serving of chips relative to the sauce and meat would of helped. In the end we simply ordered another side of corn chips. We each had a combination plate of Enchiladas for mains that was served with a generous amount of rice. Would recommend the California Colarado, and San Francisco combination dishes in particular. Good selection of beverages including beer and cider. Service was decent even on a busy night although it took forever for the bill to come and had to ask twice. Overall a great dining out option for families.
Went last night for dinner. Staff were nice enough but the food and drinks were unbelievably expensive and terrible. Small nachos with hardly any cheese and chicken. Guacamole was like brown green slop. Would not recommend and I really don’t know what the fuss is...about.
